That is a stupid idea.
If you want to sell your soul to the devil in this world and get rich or honor, you have to think as follows.

"Advanced" educated medical scientists and economists dismiss people's "shouldn't stop?" Reasoning as "simple and stupid ideas."
You have to think about the national economy, you have to think about the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture the extinct illness, you have to think about efficiency, you may lose your employees, or if shareholder dividends decrease. What do you do, because part of the drug company's profits goes to charity ... and everyone sells their souls to the devil to justify themselves.
