The three false Italian doors.

The three false Italian doors.
Polygonal walls are found in different places around the world, but only in Italy can we find a technique that is in all respects the same as in Peru. In the ancient site of Alba Fucens, (Abruzzo), there are three false doors that are even more polygonal than those of the city of Cusco, as seen in the first collage, and in all the other photos. They all concern only the wall of the three false doors, and one remains speechless for the perfection of the joints even after several millennia, these polygonal walls predate the Roman Empire by at least another 1000 years.
